Contact your local Friday Friendly bike shop

Check if there is a Bike Friday dealer bike shop in your area before sending your bike to us. We will honor warranty work done on our behalf, and will liaise with the shop as needed.

You've checked the Service Guide, you've asked around, but you still can't find the answer you need? Please call. We're here to help you six days a week, and our goal is to return all messages the same day. Let our receptionist know a good time for us to call you back. Alternately, you can email our Service Department to arrange for a phone appointment, by including "phone appointment - #:## Pacific Time" in the subject line.

International (outside the US and Canada) are welcome to email us with "international service" in the subject line for this same quick response.

If you aren't in a hurry, or have limited phone access, email us. We'll do our best to respond to your email as quick as we can, but since we prioritize the phone calls (and the work in our stands) we may take as long as a week to get back to you. Write to us here.

Sending your Bike Friday in for service

If you are planning to send your Bike Friday or something else to Eugene for factory work, please call us or send us an e-mail describing what you would like us to do for you.

Red Apron Service

We want to ensure we have the time to answer your questions and give you our undivided when you come all the way to our factory. Because we have grown so quickly this year, it has not been as easy for us to provide customers with as much attention as we would like.

So we have devised a solution: the new Red Apron Service. For $90 for two hours or $160 for four hours, a technician will spend the time taking you through whatever is most useful or interesting to you. OF course you can always visit the showroom without the Red Apron Service. We will be happy to show you the packing video, ensure the bike is working properly, and suggest test ride routes. 

Here are just a few of the Red Apron services you can select:

  • Transportation to and from your airport or hotel
  • Personal demonstration on how to pack and unpack the bike
  • Adjust your bike to fit you and your riding style
  • Special tips about your bike
  • Information on basic bicycle maintenance and how to make the most of your local bike shop
  • Deluxe factory tour
  • Meet the co-founders Hanz and/or Alan Scholz
  • Guided bike ride
  • Access to shower facilities
  • Discount coupons for local hotels, shopping and activities
