Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow will keep the Bike Friday test riders from their duty! That's right. Despite the blanket of rarely seen snow and unusually frigid temperatures felt here in Eugene this week, our Bike Friday test riders are making sure each bike is safe and road ready.
Like much of the country, Eugene was hit with a cold blast from the North. Many of the BF crew arrived on their two-wheels studded tires inspite of record setting (11 degrees!) low temperatures this week. This kind of weather rarely hits us here in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, so our test riders were caught a bit off guard. Nonetheless, knowing that our customer's safety is not to be compromised, they donned their helmets and fleece, and headed out to the parking lot to run each and every hand built Bike Friday through it's paces - shifting through each gear and testing brakes ...
