Just the tikit to get to class on time, kiddo.

SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH! Ah, the nostalgic sound of chalk on a chalkboard ...

... of cramming for exams ... scribbling half-notes and feeling like you're always couple of "and therefore this leads to's"  behind the lecturer ... don't remind me of my college days please!

However, at least if you get to class on time you're less likely to miss the opening assumptions.

That brings us to the above little clip, a prospective ad for student print and online magazine, College News.

It was Bike Friday's first foray into the world of animated ads in a third party online publication.

Unfortunately, it was deemed to large (2.2 Mb) for their homepage, so we went with something a lot simpler:

It was fun to try and incorporate the most famous of all the tikit clips - that of Kai Fuchs doing the the ride-fold-walk-unfold-ride drill of the hyperfold tikit.

Even College News staff were impressed:

By the way, I wish I had known about your company while I was in college.  It would made trips from our IT building to the Nursing building so much easier!  They were on opposite sides of the campus which was almost 2 miles wide.  That’s hard to walk in 15 minutes! . . . For me, anyway - Kathy

Thanks to Kathy and Laurin at College News for their web-savvy. And since Obama recently implored graduates to reflect on "doing what they could for their country", rather than the other way around, we thank those students in advance who ditch their car for a folding bike - preferably one Made in America.
